This isn't directly publishing related but my internal editor's warning bell was rung by this sign on an ATM in London. Again, apologies for the poor picture – the camera on my mobile 'phone isn't that great. I'm not really sure what the point of the sign is – but it is probably a data protection law requirement that it is there.
What I do know is that I want CCTV cameras to be used for 'crime detection' not 'crime and detection'.
